Devon MacEachron, Ph.D.

Dr. Devon MacEachron earned her B.A. from Amherst College, her M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. She practices as a Licensed Psychologist in New York State. Devon has conducted research and authored academic articles on the role of processing speed in reading development, math disability, ADHD, giftedness, talent development, and academic motivation. As a clinician, she writes and speaks about parenting children for high potential, twice-exceptionality, and the strengths associated with being wired differently by virtue of having a brain with dyslexia, ADHD, or Asperger’s. Devon and her husband live on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. Their children, successfully launched, are both twice-exceptional. As a parent who has been “in the trenches” herself, Devon brings empathy along with years of direct parenting experience to her work as a psychologist. She cares deeply about each and every child and family she has the honor of working with. Devon’s background in business and MBA inform her strategic and practical, action-oriented approach.
